My friend Paul informed me that the proper way of Filipino drinking always shows respect. When he was in Palawan, a native there showed him the ethnic Filipino way of drinking alcoholic beverages. “Drinking through your mouth is so western” said the native Palawanian. The Filipino way of drinking shows respect and courage. It is also a good way to show off to them pretty chiks!!
